At the second race weekend of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, Volkswagen driver Johan Kristoffersson defended his lead of the standings by taking two podium positions. The Swede in a Volkswagen Scirocco CNG of Volkswagen Team Biogas finished the first race at Ring Knutstorp as the runner-up. In the second race, Kristoffersson, who had been victorious at the season opener at Mantorp two weeks ago, achieved another podium finish, in third place.
