  • Limited Edition celebrates the precursors of the Worker and Delivery families;
  • Models marked the epoch in urban service applications, beginning the successful trajectory of the Volkswagen trucks;
  • Exclusive website brings information about the vehicles and customers are invited to tell their story aboard the VW trucks that were part of their lives
Every success story has its origin. And to celebrate models that have shone in its trajectory, VW Trucks has just released the limited edition that honours three of its most iconic vehicles: VW 6.80, VW 11.130 and VW 13.130. Forerunners of the Worker and Delivery families, trucks marked the epoch in urban service applications and now return in limited edition, based on this lineage of success.

The limited edition features the current VW Delivery 8.160, the country's best-selling truck, and VW Worker 13.190 with the Volkswagen "face" running in the 1980s: Yellow Spring paint, black vinyl seats, Nut protector, bumper, black bumper and other visual details.
"They are trucks that will make the driver travel in time, yet without giving up technological evolutions, such motorization with fuel consumption tailored for the traffic of big cities. The idea is to unite past and present in homage to the precursors of the best-selling trucks in Brazil that have not stopped evolving and have won customers in several countries, "says João Herrmann, MAN Latin America's Marketing Manager.
Launched in 2005, the Delivery family achieved this milestone of 100,000 units produced this year, bringing with it DNA characteristics of the already established VW trucks that marked the 1980s, such as robustness and vocation for urban applications. Worker line has more than 428 thousand units produced, running in Brazil and worldwide.
Classic and connected
The Historic Series trucks have won a special order site. At www.man-la.com/seriehistorica customers can find information about the models and include orders by August 31st.
Customers will also be invited to post posts on MAN Latin America's social networks by telling their memories aboard the Volkswagen trucks that were part of their lives. The best stories will be transformed into a special video and collected in a book printed on truck tarpaulin, which will accompany each vehicle of the Historical Series produced.
