Spied here is the SAIC Volkswagen e-Lavida on charge!
With the excitement of the I.D. R Pikes Peak breaking records these past two months with its electric power its easy to forget the bread and butter models that will lead to electrification of the Volkswagen brand.
The SAIC Volkswagen produced Lavida, which is Volkswagen brands top selling Volkswagen model in China. Will be launched with its FAW Volkswagen Bora twin with full electric variants for Chinese consumers.
The Lavida and Bora both now being based on MQB will most likely share technology developed on the MQB based e-Golf.
So we at VWNEWSBLOG expect a electric range of between 250km-300km for the Chinese market once the twins have been launched.
