Seventh generation Jetta GLI spotted in Argentina!

According to Argentina Autoblog the Jetta GLI will be revealed Stateside at the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) 2019. Argentina Autoblog also state that the vehicle will arrived with 230hp / 169kW. 

As we can see from captured images apes its GTI brother with GTIesque design cues inside and out. The Jetta GLI will be the second powertrain to join the Jetta lineup and also have a multi-link rear suspension set up for the enthusiast market.

We at VWNEWSBLOG would love a Jetta GLI! 

Unfortunately the Australian market no longer has the Jetta ::sad face::
