The New Delivery Family’s launch campaign, developed by Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus and AlmapBBDO,
won the silver award at the Effie Latam, international reference in creativity recognition and communication efficiency, which takes place in Cartagena, Colombia.
The name of the case submitted is “Carregando inovação em um mercado ultraconservador” (Carrying innovation in an ultraconservative market), and it was judged by executives of several agencies and advertisers from all over Latin America.
The criteria is not solely based on creativity, but also on strategy and the results achieved through the campaign.“This award is the reflection of the entire work performed by us at VWCO and AlmapBBDO to portrait how successful this launch was, which can be proved by the number of VW Delivery trucks sold within few months after its debut in the market”, says Ricardo Alouche, VP of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales at Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus.
The award was received in the “Vehicles” category, beating many car and truck cases from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Costa Rica, Chile and Dominican Republic.
