SAIC Volkswagen has released a teaser image of the all-new Viloran MPV for the Chinese market and tell us the dimensions and origin of the Viloran name.
SAIC Volkswagen is excited by the buzz in the media of the all-new Viloran MPV that they released 4 sketches ahead of the Guangzhou Auto Show held in late November.
SAIC Volkswagen also tells us that the all-new Viloran MPV which is targeted against the Buick GL8 MPV in China will measure 5.3m in length making this MPV the largest vehicle on the MQB platform trumping the Atlas / Teramont 5.1m and FAW VW SMV Concept at 5.2m.
The origin of the English name is even more interesting. The four letters are a combination of 'Villa' and 'Velour' and the last three letters 'ran' come from 'grand and solemn'.
