SAIC Volkswagen e Tharu and Viloran MPV presented to Government Agency for Approval for market launch give's us our first impressions of SAIC Volkswagen strategy for 2020.
Both the e Tharu and Viloran will be manufactured to SAIC Volkswagen's Ningbo facility.
e Tharu the electric version of SAIC Volkswagen's Tharu SUV will be powered by a 100kW electric motor. We can see visually the e Tharu will adopt the C shaped LED signature lighting that is on the outer lower grilles and reserved for electric VWs.
With the Viloran SAIC Volkswagen has confirmed initial reports that the Viloran will be powered by the 162kW 2.0 EA888 TSI engine. SAIC Volkswagen also confirmed the dimensions of the Viloran Length 5346mm, Width 1976mm, Height 1781mm and Wheelbase 3180mm.
The Viloran will also feature optional birds-eye camera similar to the Touareg as a safety feature for young Chinese families. You can also add optional 20-inch alloy wheels to give your Viloran that ultimate look.
