Introducing the Volkswagen ID. UNYX, the first product from Volkswagen Anhui.

The ID. UNYX is indeed a rebadge of the CUPRA Tavascan, which incidentally is built in the same plant for global markets that CUPRA sells in. Thus becoming the first Volkswagen Group product this side of the 2004 Shanghai-Volkswagen (now SAIC Volkswagen) Polo Classic to Australia and current SAIC-VW models to the Philippines and Vietnam to be exported.

ID. UNYX should mirror the Tavascan in specifications, but Volkswagen does develop different software for the Chinese market models which ID. UNYX is. Externally there are subtle changes to the front and rear bumpers and lights respectively.
