The Amarok Walkinshaw starts with Volkswagen’s most capable ute, then applies precision engineering from Walkinshaw, a name synonymous with motorsport and performance tuning. Handling characteristics and chassis balance are refined to deliver confidence on-road, while remaining every bit an Amarok when the terrain changes.

Built by Australian conditions

With extensive development and testing here in Australia, the Amarok Walkinshaw is made for seriously smooth on-road performance. Ride control and driver confidence are shaped by a bespoke suspension system developed specifically for the Amarok Walkinshaw and engineered in partnership with European suspension specialists KONI, creating a powerful foundation for the ultimate driver’s ute.


This tailored setup works alongside a new rear anti-roll bar to keep the ute settled and composed through corners, while premium Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres keep everything locked down on the asphalt. And with 600Nm of torque to play with, when you lean the Walkinshaw into the road, it leans right back. Settle in, because the drive ahead is going to be a ripper.

There's a confidence in the way the Amarok Walkinshaw sits on the road, shaped by what it's built to do. Swollen wheel arch flares and a menacing wheel and tyre fitment define its stance, while twin rear side-exit exhausts are engineered for an enhanced soundtrack.

From the all-new reworked front end to the subtle Walkinshaw badging and functional upgrades like the bespoke electrically deployable side steps, every detail has a reason. Here, engineering and design meet as the ultimate expression of the driver's ute.
