SAIC Volkswagen ID. ERA 9X unveils new exterior color schemes and reveals interior details for the first time.

Recently, SAIC Volkswagen released the interior design of the ID. ERA 9X and introduced a new exterior color scheme, further revealing the full design of this "German flagship SUV".

The all-new "Fairy Green" debuts, showcasing flagship style with ever-changing light and shadow.

Following "Desert Gold," the ID. ERA 9X's newest body color, "Fairy Green," draws inspiration from the interplay of light and shadow in a deep forest at dawn. Through a sophisticated "angle-dependent color" technique, the body displays rich variations in hue under different lighting and viewing angles. At rest, it resembles the mist before dawn, deep and serene, giving the body a calm and warm undertone. In motion, it's like the morning sun piercing through layers of forest, refracting a pale golden halo, lively and clear. The color transcends mere visual presentation, carrying a tribute to the rhythms of nature and the spirit of exploration.

The cabin blends German aesthetics with Eastern charm.

Stepping inside, the ID. ERA 9X's interior continues the "grand, pure, and rugged" design essence of its exterior, with "the harmony of square and round" as its core design concept, integrating German functional aesthetics with Eastern spatial philosophy into the cabin. The integrated wraparound cockpit architecture is the most direct manifestation of this spatial language. A continuous and smooth line unfolds naturally from in front of the driver's seat, extending horizontally and gently wrapping around the doors on both sides, forming a complete and unified spatial outline. This wraparound design visually enhances the sense of unity, while psychologically creating a stable and reassuring spatial atmosphere for all occupants, becoming the starting point for a sense of belonging within the cabin.

Building upon this foundation, the designers employed the rational order of "squares" to construct a "staggered, suspended" spatial structure. Functional elements such as the center console and door panels are deconstructed and cantilevered to clearly define functional zones while simultaneously releasing visual space, resulting in a spacious and relaxed experience.

Multi-screen interaction and ambient lighting usher in a new era of intelligent experience

The ID. ERA 9X also excels in intelligent and comfortable experiences. A 15.6-inch ultra-high-definition dual-screen infotainment system for the driver and passenger provides efficient human-machine interaction; a 21.4-inch foldable ceiling-mounted rear screen with a viewing angle compensation film expands the field of vision, creating an immersive audio-visual experience for rear passengers. The ambient lighting throughout the vehicle reaches a total length of 12.8 meters, employing a four-layer wraparound layout and incorporating diffuse reflection optical processing technology to evenly distribute light, creating a waterfall-like effect that permeates the cabin, further enhancing the sense of enclosure and relaxation.

Each of the six seats with equal rights is the center of attention.

In terms of space design, the ID. ERA 9X embodies the concept of "six seats for equal treatment." Based on a large six-seat layout, the new vehicle breaks away from the traditional design inertia of uneven front and rear row experiences in large SUVs in terms of structural design, visibility, entertainment and comfort features, striving to ensure that every seat has equal respect and comfort.

From its natural interplay of light and shadow in its exterior design to the orderly structure of its interior and the "six seats for equal use" spatial philosophy, the ID. ERA 9X outlines a new direction for German flagship SUVs with its fresh design aesthetics and spatial concepts. In the near future, the ID. ERA 9X will also showcase more exterior colors and intelligent features, offering a wider range of choices to meet diverse and personalized travel needs.
