CEA Electronic and Electrical Architecture: Volkswagen's forward-looking technological foundation, empowering user-defined products.
While accelerating the delivery of new energy products, Volkswagen is deeply integrating into China's technological ecosystem. The CEA electronic and electrical architecture is undoubtedly one of the most important achievements, signifying Volkswagen's continued increase in localized technology research and development. As Volkswagen's first China-exclusive regional control and quasi-centralized electronic and electrical architecture, the CEA will serve as the digital foundation for the next generation of user-defined vehicles. Developed jointly by Volkswagen (China) Technology Co., Ltd. (VCTC), CARIAD China, and XPeng Motors, this architecture was completed in just 18 months, fully demonstrating Volkswagen's "China Speed." The CEA can shorten the overall vehicle development cycle by 30%, reduce the number of vehicle control units by 30%, and achieve efficient end-to-end integration, significantly improving the integration efficiency of innovative technologies. From advanced driver assistance systems to AI-powered intelligent cockpits, the CEA transforms highly anticipated technological innovations into a smoother, more futuristic travel experience. Starting in 2027, the CEA will not only be deployed in pure electric vehicles but will also gradually cover more vehicle platforms and powertrains.

The CEA is part of the broader technological vision of "Volkswagen Human-Centered Technology." "Volkswagen Human-Centered Technology" is based on real user needs, deeply integrating German craftsmanship with local innovation to make cutting-edge technology more intuitive, accessible, and reassuring. Built upon the Volkswagen Cloud architecture, "Volkswagen Human-Centered Technology" encompasses two core pillars: Intelligent Mobility delivers a more natural and habit-friendly assisted driving experience; and the Cloud-based Intelligent Cockpit makes the in-car experience more convenient and seamless, creating a more comfortable and pleasant cabin environment. Throughout, the core principles are Volkswagen's gold standard, built upon its DNA of safety, quality, and reliability.

One Volkswagen, Diverse Expressions: Responding to Diverse User Needs with Differentiated Products
Behind Volkswagen's unprecedented product offensive lies a clear product logic.
