Magic Bus is now available as a miniature Campervan designed by „The Who“ obtainable worldwide



Hannover, 9 December 2008. The iconic campervan „Magic Bus“ is now available as a miniature. The original Volkswagen T1 from 1965 had been restored and designed for a raffle held by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, british charity Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) and The Who at the beginning of this year. Meanwhile the german manufacturers Wiking and Schuco have each done a miniature of the „Magic Bus“. The bigger miniature is on a scale of 1:43 and the smaller one on a scale of 1:87. The smallish miniature can be delivered from 15 December, the bigger one is shippable from February 2009. The campervan will be obtainable in selected Volkswagen dealership stores worldwide.

Campervan lovers and fans of The Who, who are interested in the bigger miniature should order now, as this version comes as a limited edition with 1000 pieces.
1 Euro out of the gains for the small „Magic Bus“ and 2 Euro out of the gains of the big one inure to the benefit of Teenage Cancer Trust. The charity supports british children and teenagers suffering from cancer.

The design of the Van is done by Richard Evans, Art Director of The Who. A raffle with the original „Magic Bus“ generated 40.000 Euro for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
